Get to Know Your Realtor: A Few Questions With Patrick Torres

Most of what you read here is about the market — pricing, offers, neighborhoods, timing. This one's a little different. A few quick questions, a few honest answers, so you know a bit more about who you'd actually be working with.
Q: It's a Saturday morning and you have no open houses or showings. How are you spending it?
I have a free Saturday morning and I'm not working?! You know what my favorite thing to do is — I love going to breakfast. So, I'd definitely go out to breakfast, for sure.
Q: What do you love most about the community you serve?
I love meeting people and hearing their stories. Real estate is making people's dreams come true, so being part of that process is pretty amazing.
Q: What's your go-to Chicago neighborhood hangout when you're off the clock?
Andersonville — love it.
Q:If you have people visiting from out of town, where's the first place in Chicago you're taking them?
Everyone does this one — the Chicago Architecture Tour. You get to see the city, the river, the history. It's fun, and it never gets old.
Twenty-five years in this business, and it still comes down to the same thing for me: people, stories, and a city I genuinely love showing off. If you're thinking about buying or selling in Chicago, I'd love to hear your story too.
